Price
$779
Size:1 Person
Colour:30D Fly

The Goondie 1 Nylon is a perfect combo of comfort and practicality, designed for colder environments. The nylon inner offers superior insulation, while the mesh windows allow for customised ventilation.  It features a single entrance with a large vestibule to store gear, along with a smaller vestibule on the other side accessible from inside the tent, ideal for a stove or boots. Whether you're seeking shelter from the elements or a peaceful retreat, this tent provides a reliable sanctuary. Thoughtfully designed, One Planet have added colour-coded webbing for quick and easy set-up, extra length in the crossbar to avoid water dripping inside when it's raining, and a roll-back gutter feature to the fly which directs rain/condensation away from the interior.

7D Fly: ultralight nylon fly, ideal for those counting every gram

30D Fly: robust polyester fly that doesn't sag when wet

Goondie 1 Person Features

  • Dome structure fits in even the smallest camp sites while maximising usable space.
  • Tapered rectangular shape saves weight by eliminating obsolete space. (Set up with the foot end pointing into the prevailing wind for improved aerodynamic performance)
  • Generous interior, with enough room to comfortably fit 1 person
  • Two vestibules with plenty of room, one accessible from within the tent
  • Features DAC poles - the gold standard in durable, light and strong tent poles
  • DAC Ball Cap™ connects the inner and ridge pole for easy and quick set-up
  • The ridge pole is designed to overhang the bathtub floor, creating a protective alcove that stop drips from rolling off the fly into the tent
  • Fly fabric has a silicone/PU coating and a high water head, giving you protection in all conditions
  • The inner walls are made from lightweight 15D nylon with a light DWR treatment for improved warmth and condensation management
  • The thick, durable and highly waterproof floor is coated with polyether urethane (PeU): it doesn’t wet out and is extremely resistant to mould, mildew and hydrolysis
  • The single-piece floor doesn’t have a mid seam, removing a major water access point and improving durability
  • Colour-coded webbing used on the fly and inner encourages quick and efficient set up in any conditions
  • Ventilation vents have steep access to allow air flow but not wind-driven rain. They stay open for improved, hassle-free air flow
  • Gutter is formed when fly door is rolled-up, naturally catching and channelling rain away from the tent entrance
  • Internal loops allow you to hang a clothes line or mesh loft from the ceiling
  • The torch pocket in the ceiling creates a handy, easy-to-access storage area
  • Guy lines and lightweight adjusters are simple and effective, with reflective rope and storage pockets to keep things neat and tidy

Testimonials

"I spent close to 3 hours in this store today, being fitted for and choosing a pack, and the staff are fantastic. Helpful, knowledgeable, patient and friendly - and I think I'm probably a fussy customer and I have difficulty finding packs that fit comfortably. Has to be my best experience in this kind of store to date."
Amanda Warriner - 5★

"My favourite outdoor shop in Sydney. This is where you go if you want to see gear stocked because of it's quality, not just because it's corporate overload has pumped out another 10,000 puffer jackets that need to be moved before next season. Knowledgeable staff that actually partake in trekking and travelling themselves. Definitely worth dropping in!"
Tom Brickhill - 5★

"Always friendly, helpful staff with great knowledge. Great range of good quality products (nothing really low end) including Australian/NZ brands e.g. Wilderness Equipment, One Planet and Aarn. Never had a fuss with exchanging unused gear within the 2 week period."
