US market leaders Outdoor Research have come up with a worthy successor to their classic Revel Jacket - the obliquely-named Panorama Point Jacket. Now pairing a reliable 2.5 layer Ventia waterproof/breathable membrane with a classic silhouette, the PP is everything the Revel was but adds durability to the package, which means zippered chest & hand pockets, velcro cuffs, wire brimmed adjustable hood etc. Dump heat with the Pit Zips and pack up the whole caboodle into one of the hand warmer pockets for stowage in your pack. A great price for a functional jacket that will suit many users.
